Delivering Complex Therapies with Experience and Purpose

A Career Spanning Modalities and Milestones

Gabriel brings over 25 years of experience in CMC and pharmaceutical development, starting his career at Pfizer Ltd. in 1999, where he earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. He was sponsored by Pfizer Ltd, while progressing his CMC career in analytical development. At Pfizer he worked as a member of the team that delivered the Amlodipine Besylate commercial filing. After completing a PhD in Scotland, he later transitioned into cell and gene therapy, contributing to pioneering clinical programs at GSK and Novo Nordisk. “I’ve worked across small molecules, biologics, and advanced therapies — each step taught me something new, and the science was exciting.”

His career has taken him through global leadership roles, including building CMC teams, leading regulatory submissions, and scaling manufacturing processes. “I’ve been fortunate to work on projects that have both reached commercial and clinical and have had the potential to improve patients’ lives — while shaping emerging modalities.”

Leading CMC with Precision and Perspective

At SNIPR Biome, Gabriel leads CMC and supports quality assurance across multiple projects. “My role is to take the CRISPR engineered phage and make sure it can be scaled, manufactured, and delivered safely to patients.”

He coordinates with engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transitions from research to clinical readiness. “CMC is at the heart of everything — analytics, devices, regulatory pathways. It’s like conducting a symphony.”

Gabriel also mentors project managers, helping them understand CMC’s role and requirements. “It’s important they know why we do what we do — and how it supports clinical success.”

A Culture of Kindness, Flexibility, and Impact

Gabriel describes SNIPR as a place with positive energy and strong leadership. “There’s a kinder, more personal touch here — and that sets the tone for collaboration.”

He’s motivated by the science and the mission. “We’re not just treating symptoms — we’re aiming to cure infections. That’s exciting, and it’s meaningful.”

“SNIPR reminds me of the early days of breakthrough innovation. It’s a place where you want to wake up and do your best work.”
