Student Assistant, Preclinical team
Are you early in a master's programme in biology, microbiology, biotechnology or a related field, and looking for lab experience that counts? SNIPR Biome is looking for a student assistant to join our Preclinical team for 10–15 hours per week at Lersø Parkallé 44, Copenhagen Ø.

SNIPR is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering CRISPR-powered precision medicines to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Using proprietary CRISPR technology and delivery platforms, we develop therapies that selectively eliminate pathogenic bacteria while preserving the healthy microbiome.
Our pipeline spans five AMR programs — four of them in research and preclinical development — supported by partnerships with CARB-X, SPRIN-D, the Gates Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the European Investment Bank. We are based in Copenhagen's Innovation District, with a diverse team of more than 40 people drawn from leading academic institutions and biotech companies worldwide.
The role
You will join our seven-person Preclinical team and give our scientists hands-on support in the lab. Your tasks will include:
Preparing growth media, antibiotic stock solutions and antibiotic-supplemented media
Preparing and labelling agar plates
Setting up and maintaining bacterial cultures
Colony counting
Supporting simple, routine microbiological assays
General lab organisation and upkeep
It is a chance to learn core microbiological techniques in a professional drug-development.
We are looking for someone who:
Is enrolled in the early stage of a master's programme in biology, microbiology, biotechnology or a related field
Has some laboratory experience and is eager to learn basic microbiological techniques
Works precisely, detailed-oriented and follows protocols carefully
Is reliable and can commit to regular lab hours, 10–15 per week
Communicates well in English
Salary & Benefits
DKK 150–200 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
